One of the finest research and probably the best in Neuroscience going on here under the supervision of very supportive and interactive scientists. A really beautiful campus with lot of wild animals and birds coming from the surrounding forested area. Food quality is awesome. And above all, the ideal place and a great opportunity to do "good science in the lap of mother nature".

Having benefited from the CV Raman grant, I was welcomed at the National Brain Research Centre. It was a very enriching experience for me not only scientifically where I could learn mammalian cells culture but also on the cultural level where I discovered a very hospitable people with very good meals. National Brain Research Centre is one of the premier research institute dedicated to Neuroscience in India establish by DBT. As an ex JRF student of NBRC I can say NBRC provides you best facility to explore the cutting edge research in Computational, System and Molecular Neuroscience. Faculty and the students has a friendly relationship. Apart from the research you will also find a lot of extra curricular activity in the campus to enhance your intelactual ability. The faculty of NBRC also conduct several public lecture to spread awareness in local community about Neuroscience. The accommodation facility in the campus is one of the best in India for the students. Standard of the hostel mess is five stars because it is mantained by the students. Over all, NBRC is the best place for the young mind who is inspired to pursue their career in Neuroscience. I wish all the best to the NBRC faculty and students for their future. Banshi
