I am a student from the 2016-2018 batch. While I was studying, everything was good. However, in the end, they collected TC (Transfer Certificate) charges of ₹2000 and custody charges (security/maintain for certificates) of ₹1500. The actual custody charges are ₹1000 per year, but initially, they said ₹5000. After my many requests, they charged me only ₹1500. My question is, are all these charges legal?
